It is therefore vital that disruption to local businesses and the wider community is kept to a minimum. This is achieved with 75% of the building being manufactured in a controlled factory setting, reducing vehicle movements and the number of people working on site.
Although still under construction, the marketing suite for The Mall was made available to Long Harbour just 4 weeks after starting the volumetric install. This supports the client’s leasing strategy and demonstrates the speed of volumetric construction.
Volumetric manufacture accounted for three-quarters of construction, but less than a quarter of total construction time.
