Designed for Pocket Living, and built on the edge of the China Walk estate in south-east London, our volumetric approach was critical to reworking two underused infill sites, which in turn enhanced the streetscape and better integrated the existing estate within the urban context.

Each one of the 162 weathertight steel-framed units arrived on site with all windows, doors, sanitaryware, fitted kitchens and service connections in place. This meant that both schemes were delivered within a year, with far fewer deliveries and site activity than traditional construction.

Local residents told developer Pocket Living that they were “pleasantly surprised” at the swift process and the way the new buildings have added to the attractiveness of their estate.
